OUR
HISTORY
Founder
Dan Clark began in the pest control industry in 1986
working for Western Exterminator Co. With hard work
and persevence he branched out on his own, starting
his first company, Clark Manufacturing in 1989. Western's
training and technical department helped build his knowledge
base as well as providing valuable technical training
providng the skills set necessary to understand the
tools of the trade for the pest control industry. His
first project was an Above Ground Box Trap For Squirrels
and Chipmunks.
In fact, Western Exterminator was his first client ordering
1,000 traps. Dan's next endeavor was the patented, Yellow
Jacket Bait Station developed with help from the
University Of California At Riverside. Donald A. Reierson
and the Staff Research Associate Department of Entomology
team worked together Dan on this innovative project.
The Yellow Jacket Bait Station was initially utilized
at two vital locations, Raging Waters Water Park and
Catalina Island.
